Organised by: Biennial CANA Film Festival.  No pre-registration is required.

Thursday, 16 August; 7:30pm – 9:30pm, in Main Church.

At the turn of the 19th century, a humble artisan and his wife have a daughter, Marie, who is born deaf and blind and unable to communicate with the world around her.  Marie is sent to the Larnay Institue in central France, where the idealistic Sister Marguerite sees in Marie unique potential.

Based on true events, Marie’s Story is a beautiful and touching film which recounts the courageous journey of a young nun and the lives she would change forever, confronting failures and discouragement with joyous faith and love.

All are welcome!
